Custom was recently awarded the build of 200 buses for the State Transit fleet, with chassis supplier Volvo and Scania. The buses are to replace 200 older vehicles for the Sydney and Newcastle areas and are in addition to the 1000 growth buses under the Metropolitan Transport Plan.
The official announcement was made January 14th at the Custom site, in Western Sydney by the NSW Premier Kristina Keneally and Minister for Transport John Robertson. Joined by the Mayor of Bankstown Tania Mihailuk and endorsed ALP candidate for Fairfield Guy Zangari. Read more »
