Custom and Scania have recently won and signed tender contracts to supply ACTION buses, 20 Scania ‘Euro 5’ CB80 Artic easy access articulated buses.

The new buses due to be delivered between 2012 and March 2013 will replace the existing articulated buses in the ACTION fleet. ACTION Buses Strategic Fleet and Capital Projects Richard Matto, says that ‘the Scania articulated buses will replace the oldest of the 33 Renault bendy buses which Action has had in service for 23 years. The remaining 13 will be replaced at a later date’

For the last 6 years the Bus Industry Confederation (BIC) has run the Big Arvo Out featuring a bus auction, with all proceeds raised assisting the bus industry’s representation inCanberra. The Bus Auction funds over the last 5 years have provided a significant financial boost in the running of national campaigns.

This year it was the Iveco Custom SB50 school bus auctioned at the recent BIC conference in Fiji. After serious bidding the bus was purchased by Punchbowl Bus & Co – congratulations to Steve Scott Jnr and Punchbowl Bus, another new generation Custom bus for your fleet!
