Custom Backs Experience in Victoria

Custom News - VictoriaCustom has appointed Paul Rochester, to the position of Sales Manager Victoria. Paul is well known to the Australian bus industry and very knowledgeable about the Victorian & market. Paul’s 35 year industry experience and strong customer focus makes him ideal for the new role at Custom. Paul’s appointment follows Geoff Ross’s promotion to National Sales Manager.

“Paul is very passionate about the bus industry, he has the right experience and loves dealing with bus operators”. Geoff Ross explained, “Paul was a natural choice for Custom with his mechanical training and his chassis, body & air conditioning background, he can provide our customers with a full range of support”.

Paul joins a very strong sales team at Custom. His locally based role in Victoria will provide real strength to a bus builder moving forward, with a new generation of products for Australia.

Custom has recently invested over $20 million in new plant & equipment including a new fully owned plant in Villawood, Sydney. The new plant also includes over $2.5 million of state of the art laser cutters, both tube and flat bed. These investments in the future enable Custom to produce products that are high quality, fast to build and competitive well into the future.

Paul has not stood still since starting the new role in mid January, he’s attended training in Sydney, Adelaide & participated at the South Australian DECS seminar. “I’ve always had a soft spot for Custom and the new school & city bus products (SB50 & CB80) are very special” enthused Paul “and I’m also very impressed with the new plants & manufacturing techniques”.
