Custom is committed to training employees, over the last 12 years, Custom has achieved over 117 successful apprenticeship completions, providing skilled workers for the Australian bus building industry.
Apprentices get paid to learn and they gain valuable experience that allows them to grow and develop. Custom provides a supportive employment situation working along side professional tradespeople.
Custom offers both TAFE day release and on the job training; which allows TAFE teachers to assess progress whilst the apprentice works in ‘real time’ scenarios. We work with a government training & employment provider who ensures that all our apprentices are signed up under an authorised training portfolio and have access to various incentives and assistance.
The following apprenticeships are offered:
- Automotive Vehicle Body – Vehicle Painting
- Automotive Electrical Technology
- Vehicle Body Building
- Engineering, Fabrication Trade (Light Fabrication)
Custom also offers Mature Age Apprenticeships in the above fields.
